NEWTOWN REGENERATION – SBC UPDATE Nov 2009
Scottish Borders Council is progressing with the draft Development Framework outlining key land use/ access options and opportunities for the village as a totality, as well as options for the village centre and key sites within the village. The draft Development Framework will be presented to the community for consultation in early December. Dates will be published shortly.
A report was presented to Council on 20 August, which set out the proposals for the Local Plan Amendment and specifically in relation to Newtown St Boswells. The finalised Local Plan Amendment will be subject to formal consultation for a period of 6 weeks starting towards the end of September/early October.
