Newtown St Boswells & Eildon Shopper's Bus

The Community Council has in co-operation with SBC and the Rural Resource Centre been able to institute a free, weekly 'Shoppers Bus Service' for the area.

This service will run on Mondays for pensioners and those who have difficulty accessing transport. The initial run is on Monday 13th October.

Those wishing to use the service must be members of the 'Shopping Club' (membership free) and should be a local resident, concessionary fare holder or have transport problems.

The SBC minibus, driven by local Jim Dickson, will leave Eildon for Newtown at 10.30am, departing from the Co-op at 11.30am, going via Whitefield, Glenburn, Eildon and Bowden, dropping off on demand.
